Welcome to Trimester in Transit, our revived, rebranded mini-blog series born from the original “Hop On and Hold On,” a raw and witty account of one couple’s 2nd trimester trek across 15 countries. While that original blog no longer exists, the authors (yep, the founders of Trimester Abroad) have handed us the rights and their blessing to carry the story forward, and open the floor to yours.
We’re expanding Trimester in Transit into something bigger. Something real. Because one of the most overwhelming parts of traveling while pregnant, or with a baby (or two) in tow, is feeling like there’s no roadmap. And while that might still be true (we’re working on it), new and expecting parents have been winging it for generations. You’re not alone, and you’re certainly not the first to attempt a mid-flight diaper change in turbulence.
This series is your backstage pass to the highs, the heartbreaks, and the hilariously humbling moments that come with traveling with a bump or a baby. It’s part inspiration, part cautionary tale, and always honest.
